We Are No Longer Alone

This was my first visit to a gun show and will probably be the first of many.
I had an interesting time at the gun show this afternoon where we had a table for “We the People Michiana 9/12 Project”. There seemed to be a lot of interest in knowing what our organization was all about. There were several people who said that they were interested in becoming members and several people who were willing to just talk with us about the issues.

The latter are the ones that bother me in that they are aroused but don’t think that there is anything that can be done. They are like the frog in the beaker of water that is being gradually heated. They seam to be aware that things are not quite right but are unable to make a move to change their condition. At a gun show it is hard to find anyone who is not aware of the threat to the Second Amendment that exists in the U.S. Congress and it is easy to strike up a conversation about the threat to the whole Constitution.

I talked to one man who said that he thought that the only answer was through armed rebellion. Let us all pray that he is wrong, but it is easy to see why there are more gun sales this year than any time in history.

One of the venders nearby was heard saying that he would have to find more merchandise or he wouldn’t be returning tomorrow. Sales were that brisk.

My thoughts as I left the show were “We must as patriots exert every effort to recruit every patriot and gain a real majority voice without being a threat to security. We must never quit. We have strength only through numbers. Make sure that you express this whenever you are talking to a prospect. We don’t ask for their money but only their attendance at our events especially at rallies. We are no longer alone.
